Read President Goodluck Jonathan Easter Message To Nigerians

Dear Compatriots,
I greet and felicitate with you all as we celebrate Easter which commemorates the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ after his redemptive self-sacrifice for the eternal salvation of mankind. Irrespective of our religion or faith, all holidays provide us with a fresh opportunity to establish stronger bonds with our family, friends and all those around us for more enduring, harmonious and beneficial relationships.

As we celebrate this year’s Easter therefore, I urge all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to living in peace and oneness with all members of their communities no matter their ethnicity, religious beliefs or places of origin. By now, it ought to be an accepted fact amongst us that our immense potential for greatness in the comity of nations derives in the main from our collective strength as a country of close to 170 million people and the acclaimed richness of our diverse human resources and natural endowments.

It follows, therefore, that to successfully achieve our vision of becoming one of the most dominant nations on the global stage in the shortest possible time, we must stay together as a people and continue to effectively resist by all possible means, the evil machinations of global terrorists and their misguided domestic accomplices who seek to provoke turmoil, hatred and harmful divisions among us. I assure all Nigerians that our security agencies, armed forces and I will continue to fully discharge our constitutional responsibilities for protecting the unity and territorial integrity of this country with all the powers and forces at our disposal. We must have peace, security and stability to effectively implement our agenda for national transformation in all parts of the country and we shall continue to work ceaselessly to re-establish the prerequisite conditions for nationwide progress and development.

For your part, dear countrymen and women, I urge you to continue to exhibit restraint and understanding in the face of seeming provocations. Those who mindlessly and indiscriminately attack churches, schools, health workers, motor-parks, banks and ordinary road users must be seen as they truly are: the brainwashed pawns of international terrorism. They do not represent any true religion or section of the country and we must never play into their hands by succumbing to their nefarious ploys to incite religious, ethnic hatred and division among us. It is my hope and prayer that as we celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, his lessons of self-sacrifice, brotherly love, placing others before self, tolerance, obedience, respect for lawful authorities, dutifulness, diligence, honesty, justice and fairness to all will take firmer root in our beloved country and help us to overcome present challenges and build the more peaceful, secure, united, progressive and prosperous nation of our dreams.

I wish you all happy Easter celebrations.
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR President,
Federal Republic of Nigeria.

'It's Very Hard To Find A Good Wife ' - Mikel Obi Opens Up

Mikel Obi recently spoke to Kayode Tijani abouthis life and other issues. But this is what caught our attention in the interview; where he spoke about marriage.

'I know, normal people don't go through what I am going through now when it concerns findinga Wife to marry, and normal people don't at all. Believe me it's so so difficult, very difficult, it's so so difficult you just have to leave it to God. There might be someone who really loves me truly for who I am but I may not be aware and maybe you don't know... or you may think she's one of those who loves you for who you are or what you have, or because of your money, maybe she's there for you, you never know, you get so confused, now I have decided I will just leave it to God to decide who I get married to'.

Wow, he’s gigantic! Woman delivers 7 kg baby boy – naturally (PICTURED,)

15 pound baby

Have you heard about the British mom who gave birth to a 15-pound, 7-ounce baby boy a few weeks ago? No, I’m not kidding. Much to his parents’ surprise, baby George King made his entrance into the world weighing in at a whopping 15 pounds, 7 ounces — and he’s believed to be the second largest baby delivered vaginally in the U.K.
Whoops! I probably should’ve mentioned that part first — George’s mom, Jade, gave birth to him the old-fashioned way. As in she pushed him out — all 15 pounds, 7 ounces of him.

OMG.

As you will hear in this video clip, no one had any idea how large “little” George was until the birth was well underway — so it turned into a pretty scary ordeal.

What a miracle that he is ok! I can’t even imagine how scared Jade must have been — and I still can’t seem to get past the fact that she gave birth to a baby that big naturally.

To put things into perspective on what pushing out an almost-16-pound child must have felt like, here are a few comparisons of other things that weigh that much.

Three bags of flour or sugar

Two human heads

Two gallons of milk

Three standard-sized coffee makers

Four small laptop computers

A small flat-screen TV

Five boxes of wine

Three 2-liter bottles of soda

A bag of dog food

Eight pineapples

A small dog

Five human brains

Two full-term newborns (duh)

Wow. Using those examples to form a visual picture of how that delivery went down really takes Jade’s ordeal to a whole new level.

What A Disgrace From 2Face, Wizkid, D'banj, Iyanya, Davido, Terry G And The Rest

Honestly am not against Nigerian artists, bur have you noticed or listened to there rhymes? all they talk about is money, women, sex, party, life on the fast lane and non educational or inspiring stuffs.
I used to think music is a way of expressing ones felling, that’s what our musical teacher told us back then in school, and i believed because of the inspiring and motivational song from king sony ade,bob marley, lucky dube, fela kuti and the rest.
But now it seems people wants to make money than expressing themselves, everybody sings about the fast lane but hardly about the hustle that got them to the fast lane, that could motivate people. Every Nigerian child (those with access to the tv or radio), will be singing all the dirt coming from this artists song corrupting there mind (so bad). for instance you see a two year boy, singing and shouting ‘i need the koko’ or u see a girl singing ‘bottom belle’ is just a shame if you turn to soundcity now, 99.9% of the music played is always about sex, money, cars, women, parties etc. none is ever educational.
maybe the are trying to sell there products, move along with the market ,unlike fela kuti, king sony ade, micheal jackson, lucky dube, bob marley, mozart and the rest, those are music that never dies, even till the next decade, unlike zacky aze, tony tetula, edris abdulkareem, mr cool, sisqo, rugged man and lots of them, you see the way the all faded? that because there songs have no weight, there just music that come and go.
You will all agree with me that music is beginning to loose its value.

BED PHOTO SCANDAL: Davido Finally Opens Up On The Second Girl

In an interview with the former big brother housemate,Ebuka obi Uchende,on Rubbing Minds TV show,Dami Duro crooner Davido opened up about a second girl in a bephoto scandal with him.

He told Ebuka, "I was asleep in bed.The girl just snuck in (makes gesture of taking photograph)I do not know her .I used to stay in an apartment back then and movement was kind of free.Maybe I didn't lock the door and she just snuck in and took the picture.I however moved to my new home which has tighter security. Davido claims the girl who he never knew called his people to apologise to them but then the damage has already been done as he got 300 calls from his dad, 600 calls from his grandma over the issue.

He hopes such incidence never occur again as he maintains his resilience to finish his studies, face his music business and continue to be a role model to others.

PHOTOS:Incredible, Researchers Create Invisibility Cloak

Researchers at the University of Texas in Austin have created a new, ultra-thin (0.15mm) invisibility cloak.
[Scroll down for photos]
Until now, most invisibility cloaks have been large, cumbersome, desk-mounted constructions that really stretch the definition of the word cloak,
For the most part, they’re more like proof of concepts for the invisibility material being tested, rather than actual invisibility cloaks.
The University of Texas invisibility cloak, however, at just 166 micrometers thick.
Almost every invisibility cloak that have been invented before involved the use of metamaterials.
Metamaterials are materials with properties that can’t be found in nature — usually, in the case of cloaking, materials that have a negative refractive index.
A negative refractive index causes light to behave very oddly, allowing for the creation of superlenses that bend light beyond the diffraction limit, or cloaks that bend light in such a way as to make the covered object invisible.Incredible: Researchers Create Invisibility Cloak
In this case, though, the researchers have eschewed metamaterials and instead fashioned an invisibility cloak out of conventional materials.
The researchers created their invisibility cloak, dubbed a "metascreen," out of a 66µm-thick sheet of copper that’s attached to a 100µm-thick sheet of flexible polycarbonate.
This cloak is then attached to the object — in this case an 18cm cylinder — so that the cloak perfectly conforms to the object’s shape.
The copper is patterned so that the scattered light from the cloak and the cloaked object cancel each other out.
The end result is a cloak that hides the object from microwaves emitted from any direction, which might not sound all that impressive until you realize that most radar installations use microwaves.
In theory, the Texan metascreen could also be used to cloak visible light — after all, visible light, microwaves, and infrared are all physically identical, they’re just waves that oscillate at different frequencies.
"In fact, metascreens are easier to realize at visible frequencies than bulk metamaterials and this concept could put us closer to a practical realization," says Andrea Alu, co-author of the research paper.
The one problem is that their patterned material scattering technique inversely scales with wavelength — so, while it’s possible to hide an 18cm cylinder from 3.6GHz microwave radiation, they can only hide micrometer-scale objects from 400-800THz visible light.
One micrometer is 0.001 millimeters, the width of a red blood cell is about six micrometers.
Still, it’s yet another exciting invisibility cloak proof of concept.
With the amount of money being poured into invisibility R&D, and the myriad of military (and consumer) uses, it’s really only a matter of time until an actual invisibility cloak is realized.

See What Women Did To An 18-Yr-Old Girl With Blade Because Of Choirmaster’s (PHOTO)

Two women – Temitope Abigeal and Temitope Remi – have been arraigned before a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Ebute Meta on a three count of conspiracy, assault and grievous harm.

Abigeal (26) and Remi (28), choristers at a Cherubim and Seraphim church at Progressive Road, Ebute Meta, were alleged to have assaulted Hannah Okurabe (18) with razor blades at Abule Nla junction, a few metres away from the church.

The March 17, 2013 incident was said to be the result of an earlier fight over the church’s choirmaster, Joseph Unuigbe.
A father of two, Unuigbe is married to Folashade, who is also a member of the same church. The defendants who pleaded not guilty to the charges, made a bail application through their counsel identified simply as Mr Chukwudi. But the prosecutor, Mr. Ishola Samuel, objected to the bail application, saying that the complainant was presently admitted to the Lagos Island General Hospital.

However, the Magistrate, Mrs. M. O. Tanimola, ruled that the charge was a bailable offence and granted the defendants bail in the sum of N200,000 each while they are to produce two responsible sureties who must be relatives withverifiable addresses. Also, the sureties must be gainfully employed with evidence of tax payments to the state government in the last three years.
The case was adjourned to April 17 2013. The suspects are said to be currently remanded at the Kirikiri Minimum Prison.

Boy, 13 Has Sex With 31-Year-Old Woman, While Her Boyfriend Videotaped The Encounter

A group of swingers in the west Wales countryside were arrested after they allowed a teenage boy to have sex with a woman and filmed it, a jury heard today.
The teenager told the court that as he had sex with the 31-year-old woman, her boyfriend Brian Ecclestone walked in and told him he was doing a good job.
Ecclestone then got out his video camera and filmed the boy with his partner, Emmanie Hughes, Swansea Crown Court heard.
The jury heard how the boy had been dropped off by his mother at the home of family friend Iwan Walker, 24, who had invited him to spend the night.
Prosecutor James Jenkins told the court that Walker knew the boy and 'knew full well how old he was'.
He told that court that Walker, of Saron, deep in the Welsh countryside, spoke to Ecclestone on the telephone and then told the boy they were going to visit some of his friends.
photo
Ecclestone, 32, arrived in his car and drove Walker and the boy to his home in Llandysul.  Once there, said Mr Jenkins, the boy was incited to have sex with Ecclestone's partner, Emmanie Hughes, 31.
'He was not the only one. It would appear that all the defendants had sex with her or at least were actively watching and encouraging each other.' he said.
Mr Jenkins said there was no doubt the boy had sexual intercourse with Hughes as part of it was videoed.
'There is no doubt this group sex took place, and that the boy was part of it with the active encouragement and excitement of the defendants,' he added.
The boy later told police that he had felt pushed into having sex with Hughes.
He told the jury: 'Bryan told me to go upstairs with her. I felt really pressured. She lay on the bed and started playing with me.'
The court heard that Hughes performed a sex act on him before the pair had sex together.
The boy said: 'Bryan walked in and said I was doing a good job.  Walker came into the bedroom while I was with her.'
The court heard that the boy was collected by his mother the following day 'and she thought he did not seem himself.'
After the boy confided in a friend, his mother was informed and the police were called.
The court heard that after their arrests, the defendants said they had had no idea the boy was as young as 13.
Hughes said in a prepared statement to the police that she accepted having sex with the boy but thought he was 16.
She described the 13-year-old as 'muscular and confident', and said he appeared to know what he was doing.
'I thought he was older, he told me he was 16,' she told the court.  'I had no reason to doubt what he said.  He initiated sex; he was the first to ask me to go upstairs. Bryan came afterwards to see if he was ok.'
And she told police during interview: 'I am not in the habit of asking for ID.'
She added: 'Brian filmed. He (the boy) filmed as well', and told the court she later had sex with Sweetman and Walker.
Walker told the court he had exchanged text messages with Ecclestone a few days before about having sex with Hughes, but had never met her before that night.
He agreed that one text from Ecclestone read: 'Come and bang her, mate. Shall I get her showered for you?'
'I knew the offer was there', he told the jury.
Walker said that once inside Ecclestone's house, he thought the boy and Hughes had gone upstairs to 'have a chat'.
He said that after a while he went to the bedroom to see Hughes naked but the boy clothed.
Later again, he went upstairs and had sexual intercourse with Hughes for several hours.
Sweetman told the court he had sex with Hughes from time to time with Ecclestone's knowledge.
Ecclestone told the jury he and Hughes had been swinging since 2010.
He said the boy told him he found Hughes attractive and asked if he could lose his virginity with her.
'It made me feel good that someone else found my partner attractive. I was happy for them to have sex,' he said.
'She found it quite flattering, to be honest.'
The boy said the suggestions he had said he was 16 and had asked to lose his virginity with Hughes were not true.
Hughes and Ecclestone, both of Llandysul, Sweetman, of Newcastle Emlyn, and Walker, of Saron, all deny inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity with Hughes.  Hughes denies a further charge of sexual activity with a child.
The trial continues.
