Read President Goodluck Jonathan Easter Message To Nigerians

Dear Compatriots,
I greet and felicitate with you all as we celebrate Easter which commemorates the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ after his redemptive self-sacrifice for the eternal salvation of mankind. Irrespective of our religion or faith, all holidays provide us with a fresh opportunity to establish stronger bonds with our family, friends and all those around us for more enduring, harmonious and beneficial relationships.

As we celebrate this year’s Easter therefore, I urge all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to living in peace and oneness with all members of their communities no matter their ethnicity, religious beliefs or places of origin. By now, it ought to be an accepted fact amongst us that our immense potential for greatness in the comity of nations derives in the main from our collective strength as a country of close to 170 million people and the acclaimed richness of our diverse human resources and natural endowments.

It follows, therefore, that to successfully achieve our vision of becoming one of the most dominant nations on the global stage in the shortest possible time, we must stay together as a people and continue to effectively resist by all possible means, the evil machinations of global terrorists and their misguided domestic accomplices who seek to provoke turmoil, hatred and harmful divisions among us. I assure all Nigerians that our security agencies, armed forces and I will continue to fully discharge our constitutional responsibilities for protecting the unity and territorial integrity of this country with all the powers and forces at our disposal. We must have peace, security and stability to effectively implement our agenda for national transformation in all parts of the country and we shall continue to work ceaselessly to re-establish the prerequisite conditions for nationwide progress and development.

For your part, dear countrymen and women, I urge you to continue to exhibit restraint and understanding in the face of seeming provocations. Those who mindlessly and indiscriminately attack churches, schools, health workers, motor-parks, banks and ordinary road users must be seen as they truly are: the brainwashed pawns of international terrorism. They do not represent any true religion or section of the country and we must never play into their hands by succumbing to their nefarious ploys to incite religious, ethnic hatred and division among us. It is my hope and prayer that as we celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, his lessons of self-sacrifice, brotherly love, placing others before self, tolerance, obedience, respect for lawful authorities, dutifulness, diligence, honesty, justice and fairness to all will take firmer root in our beloved country and help us to overcome present challenges and build the more peaceful, secure, united, progressive and prosperous nation of our dreams.

I wish you all happy Easter celebrations.
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR President,
Federal Republic of Nigeria.

'It's Very Hard To Find A Good Wife ' - Mikel Obi Opens Up

Mikel Obi recently spoke to Kayode Tijani abouthis life and other issues. But this is what caught our attention in the interview; where he spoke about marriage.

'I know, normal people don't go through what I am going through now when it concerns findinga Wife to marry, and normal people don't at all. Believe me it's so so difficult, very difficult, it's so so difficult you just have to leave it to God. There might be someone who really loves me truly for who I am but I may not be aware and maybe you don't know... or you may think she's one of those who loves you for who you are or what you have, or because of your money, maybe she's there for you, you never know, you get so confused, now I have decided I will just leave it to God to decide who I get married to'.

Wow, he’s gigantic! Woman delivers 7 kg baby boy – naturally (PICTURED,)

15 pound baby

Have you heard about the British mom who gave birth to a 15-pound, 7-ounce baby boy a few weeks ago? No, I’m not kidding. Much to his parents’ surprise, baby George King made his entrance into the world weighing in at a whopping 15 pounds, 7 ounces — and he’s believed to be the second largest baby delivered vaginally in the U.K.
Whoops! I probably should’ve mentioned that part first — George’s mom, Jade, gave birth to him the old-fashioned way. As in she pushed him out — all 15 pounds, 7 ounces of him.

OMG.

As you will hear in this video clip, no one had any idea how large “little” George was until the birth was well underway — so it turned into a pretty scary ordeal.

What a miracle that he is ok! I can’t even imagine how scared Jade must have been — and I still can’t seem to get past the fact that she gave birth to a baby that big naturally.

To put things into perspective on what pushing out an almost-16-pound child must have felt like, here are a few comparisons of other things that weigh that much.

Three bags of flour or sugar

Two human heads

Two gallons of milk

Three standard-sized coffee makers

Four small laptop computers

A small flat-screen TV

Five boxes of wine

Three 2-liter bottles of soda

A bag of dog food

Eight pineapples

A small dog

Five human brains

Two full-term newborns (duh)

Wow. Using those examples to form a visual picture of how that delivery went down really takes Jade’s ordeal to a whole new level.

What A Disgrace From 2Face, Wizkid, D'banj, Iyanya, Davido, Terry G And The Rest

Honestly am not against Nigerian artists, bur have you noticed or listened to there rhymes? all they talk about is money, women, sex, party, life on the fast lane and non educational or inspiring stuffs.
I used to think music is a way of expressing ones felling, that’s what our musical teacher told us back then in school, and i believed because of the inspiring and motivational song from king sony ade,bob marley, lucky dube, fela kuti and the rest.
But now it seems people wants to make money than expressing themselves, everybody sings about the fast lane but hardly about the hustle that got them to the fast lane, that could motivate people. Every Nigerian child (those with access to the tv or radio), will be singing all the dirt coming from this artists song corrupting there mind (so bad). for instance you see a two year boy, singing and shouting ‘i need the koko’ or u see a girl singing ‘bottom belle’ is just a shame if you turn to soundcity now, 99.9% of the music played is always about sex, money, cars, women, parties etc. none is ever educational.
maybe the are trying to sell there products, move along with the market ,unlike fela kuti, king sony ade, micheal jackson, lucky dube, bob marley, mozart and the rest, those are music that never dies, even till the next decade, unlike zacky aze, tony tetula, edris abdulkareem, mr cool, sisqo, rugged man and lots of them, you see the way the all faded? that because there songs have no weight, there just music that come and go.
You will all agree with me that music is beginning to loose its value.

BED PHOTO SCANDAL: Davido Finally Opens Up On The Second Girl

In an interview with the former big brother housemate,Ebuka obi Uchende,on Rubbing Minds TV show,Dami Duro crooner Davido opened up about a second girl in a bephoto scandal with him.

Davido who kept mum on the matter last year has decided to open up on the controversy. He told Ebuka, "I was asleep in bed.The girl just snuck in (makes gesture of taking photograph)I do not know her .I used to stay in an apartment back then and movement was kind of free.Maybe I didn't lock the door and she just snuck in and took the picture.I however moved to my new home which has tighter security. Davido claims the girl who he never knew called his people to apologise to them but then the damage has already been done as he got 300 calls from his dad, 600 calls from his grandma over the issue.

He hopes such incidence never occur again as he maintains his resilience to finish his studies, face his music business and continue to be a role model to others.
